Today, I am writing a conversation (Daily English Conversation) between a teacher and a new student. The student has joined his first spoken English class and he wants to learn how to speak English as soon as possible and the teacher told him that if he tried his level best, he would learn it very soon…

Daily English Conversation | Between Teacher and Student

Student – May I come in Sir?

सर क्या मैं अंदर आ सकता हूँ?

Teacher – Sure, come in.

क्यों नहीं अंदर आइये

Student – Sir, My name is Rajesh and I have taken admission in the spoken English class.

सर मेरा नाम राजेश है और मैंने स्पीकिंग इंग्लिश में एडमिशन लिया है

Teacher – Oh, Rajesh you are welcome in my class.

राजेश आपका स्वागत है मेरी क्लास में

Student – Thank you, sir.

धन्यवाद सर

Teacher – So What’s your name? Oh, I think you have already told, Rajesh, Right?

तो बताइए आपका क्या नाम है, मुझे लगता है शायद आपने पहले ही बताया है, राजेश

Student – Yes sir, No problem.

जी हां सर कोई बात नहीं

Teacher – What is your Qualification?

आपकी पढाई-लिखाई कहाँ तक हुई है?

Student – Sir, I am doing graduation from Magadh University Bodh Gaya Bihar.

सर मैं मगध यूनिवर्सिटी बोध-गया बिहार से ग्रेजुएशन कर रहा हूँ।

Teacher – That’s really wonderful.

यह बहुत ही अच्छी बात है

Student – Yes, Sir.

जी हां सर

Teacher – From where do you belong to Rajesh?

राजेश आप कहां के रहने वाले है?

Student – Sir, I am from Patna.

सर मैं पटना से हूं

Teacher – Are you just for studies in Delhi or something else?

क्या आप दिल्ली में केवल पढ़ाई के लिए ही हैं और फिर किसी और चीज के लिए?

Student – No Sir, Apart from my study; I teach competitive students reasoning in an institute.

नहीं सर पढाई के अलावे मैं प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओ की तैयारी करने वाले छात्रों को रीजनिंग भी पढ़ता हूँ।

Teacher – That’s really impressive. I like you are taking care of your expenses.

यह तो बहुत अच्छी बात है कि आप अपनी पढ़ाई का खर्चा खुद ही उठा रहे हो।

Student – Yes, Since I am from a middle-class family, I need to do something so that I may fulfil some of my need and curtain the problem of my parents.

हां, चूंकि मैं एक मध्यम वर्गीय परिवार से हूं, इसलिए मुझे कुछ करने की जरूरत है ताकि मैं अपनी जरूरत पूरी कर सकूं और अपने माता-पिता की समस्या को कम कर सकूं।

Teacher – Good! Have a seat there.

बहुत अच्छा वहाँ बैठिये।

Student – Thank you, sir.

धन्यवाद सर।

Teacher – Rajesh! What is your Father?

राजन आपके पिताजी क्या करते हैं?

Student – Sir, He is a carpenter and runs a small shop in Patna itself.

सर वह एक कारपेंटर हैं और एक छोटी सी दुकान पटना में रहकर चलाते हैं।

Teacher – And, would you like to tell something more about yourself and family?

और क्या आप अपने बारे में और अपनी फैमिली के बारे में बतायेंगे?

Student – Sure sir, first of all, very good morning to all my new friends here, I think you all must have known my name and my father, My mom is a house maker and I have a younger sister who is studying in 9th standard.

ज़रूर, सर, मेरे सभी नए दोस्तों को सबसे पहले Good morning, मुझे लगता है कि आप सभी मेरे नाम और मेरे पिता को जानते होंगे, मेरी माँ एक गृहणी हैं और मेरी एक छोटी बहन है, जो 9वीं कक्षा में पढ़ रही है।

Teacher – What do you want to be in your life?

तुम्हारा लाइफ में क्या बनने का उद्देश्य है?

Student – As you know sir, I am from Bihar and every Bihari wants to be an IAS or IPS.

जैसा कि आप जानते हैं कि सर, मैं बिहार से हूं और हर बिहारी IAS या IPS बनना चाहता है।

Teacher – Can you tell why you want to learn spoken English?

क्या आप बता सकते हैं कि आप Spoken English क्यों सीखना चाहते हैं?

Student – Sir, you know I have been preparing for the UPSC exam and I have chosen English there so it is a must to learn spoken English. And I hope I am in the right place.

Sir, आप जानते हैं कि मैं यूपीएससी परीक्षा की तैयारी कर रहा हूं और मैंने वहां अंग्रेजी माध्यम को चुना है, इसलिए इसे अंग्रेजी बोलना सीखना चाहिए। और मुझे उम्मीद है कि मैं सही जगह पर हूं।

Teacher – Sure, If you do practice, you must learn it very soon.
