Youth and age are relative terms. One is as young as one feels. It is said that nothing is young or old, good or bad. It is the feeling that makes a person young or old. As long as we feel young, we remain active and agile. The moment we feel we are ageing, dullness overpowers us. It mars our spirit of living. We turn dull and inactive and sooner race to our grave.

Lifelessness leads us to death. A man of forty may feel he is old and inactive. On the other hand, if we feel active and young, even at the age of eighty or ninety, one can try to live a happy and active life. Every moment of life is to be enjoyed with mirth and gaiety.

An active man keeps ageing away because he does his work with a zeal of a young man. People say spring does not come on its own, it is brought about.

यौवन और आयु सापेक्ष शब्द हैं। कहा जाता है कि कुछ भी जवान या बूढ़ा, अच्छा या बुरा नहीं होता। यह वह भावना है जो किसी व्यक्ति को जवान या बूढ़ा बनाती है। जब तक हम युवा महसूस करते हैं, हम सक्रिय और चुस्त रहते हैं। जिस क्षण हमें लगता है कि हम बूढ़े हो रहे हैं, नीरसता हम पर हावी हो जाती है।

जीवन के प्रत्येक क्षण का आनंद और उल्लास के साथ आनंद लेना है। एक सक्रिय आदमी उम्र बढ़ने को दूर रखता है क्योंकि वह एक जवान आदमी के उत्साह के साथ अपना काम करता है। लोग कहते हैं कि वसंत अपने आप नहीं आता है, लाया जाता है।
