Example – She will take a baker’s dozen of those donuts, please.
6. Be born with a silver – To be born in a rich family. spoon in one’s mouth [एक धनी परिवार में जन्म होना।]
Example – Reena was born with a silver spoon in her mouth.
7. Be in the driving seat – Bearing all responsibilities. [सभी जिम्मेदारियों का सामना करना।]
Example – Money and talent will put one in the driver’s seat.
8. Bear the brunt of – To bear the main part of something unpleasant. [कुछ अप्रिय का मुख्य हिस्सा उठाना।]
Example – I had to bear the brunt of his anger.
9. Beat about the bush – To talk in a roundabout manner/ circumlocution. [ गोलमोल तरीके से बातचीत करना / टालमटोल।]
