How to Translate a Paragraph: Paragraph Translation is considered to be difficult because there are so many other words, which are difficult for students to understand. In this post, I have shared two short paragraph in Hindi and English. Try to understand, how they have been translated into English.

घर में एक साल पढ़ने के बाद सच्चिदा बाबू आरा जिला स्कूल में भर्ती हुए। पिताजी उनको प्रधान शिक्षक के पास ले गए जिन्होंने जाँच के बाद उनको दूसरे वर्ग के लिए उपयुक्त समझा। इस प्रकार शुभ दिन में वे स्कूल में भर्ती हुए। बहुत ही शीघ्र उन्होंने अपने-आपको अपनी श्रेणी का सबसे अच्छा छात्र साबित कर दिया। प्रत्येक छात्र को उन दिनों हिन्दी तथा उर्दू पढ़ना आवश्यक था और सभी विषयों की पढ़ाई अँगरेजी में होती थी।

After studying at home for a year, Sachchida Babu got enrolled in Ara District School. His father took him to the headmaster who, after an assessment, found him suitable for the second grade. In this way, he got admitted to the school on an auspicious day. Very soon, he proved himself to be the best student of his class. It was necessary for every student to study Hindi and Urdu during those days, and all subjects were taught in English.

Hindi to English Translation

कल मेरी भेंट एक रिक्शाचालक से हुई। उसका नाम रामू है। उसका परिवार बहुत बड़ा है। उसकी हालत दयनीय है। उसे सुबह से शाम तक रिक्शा खींचना पड़ता है। उसके स्वास्थ्य पर इसका बुरा असर पड़ा है। कभी-कभी वह खाँसता और खून थूकता है। पर वह लाचार है। उसका कोई सहायक नहीं है। अगर वह काम छोड़ दे तो उसके परिवार के लोग भूखे मरने लगेगे।

Yesterday, I met a rickshaw puller. His name is Ramu. He comes from a very large family. His condition is pitiable. He has to pull the rickshaw from morning till evening. It has had a negative impact on his health. Sometimes, he coughs and spits blood. But he feels helpless. He doesn’t have any assistant. If he quits his job, the members of his family will starve to death.
