Daily English Conversation Practice Day-1

Bhavya: Good evening, Bhoomi.

Bhoomi: Good evening! How are you?

Bhavya: I’m fine. And you?

Bhoomi: I’m also fine.

Bhavya: Are you busy now?

Bhoomi: No, not at all. But why?

Bhavya: I would like to talk about the causes of failure in English and the solution to the problem.

Bhoomi: It is really a very important issue.

Bhavya: Nowadays, many students fail in English in public exams. There are some reasons behind this.

Bhoomi: What do you think about the reasons?

Bhavya: Our old and traditional syllabus, lack of trained teachers, and outdated testing methods are mainly responsible for this. Also, the way we teach English as a foreign language is faulty.

Bhoomi: Exactly! Plus, our classrooms are not suitable for teaching a foreign language.

Bhavya: Yes, all of this leads to failure in English.

Bhoomi: What do you think is the solution?

Bhavya: I think the government should provide better textbooks written in simple English.

Bhoomi: English teachers should also be given proper training. And above all, teachers should work hard to teach this language.

Bhavya: Yes, and teachers should involve students in more language activities. Only then can we hope for improvement.

Bhoomi: You’re right. Thank you for your ideas.

Bhavya: You’re most welcome.
