SSC CHSL Tier III Syllabus

Tier-III of SSC CHSL 2022 will be a skill/typing test of qualifying nature. The final merit of the selected candidates will be based on the aggregate marks obtained in Tier-I and Tier-II.

Skill Test for the Post of Data Entry Operator:

In this test, a candidate must have a data entry speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) key depressions per hour.

The duration of the test is 15 minutes and an English document containing approximately 2000-2200 strokes/key depressions is given to be typed.

Skill Test for the Post of Data Entry Operator in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) of India:

The speed of 15000 key depressions per hour will be decided based on the correct entry of words/key-depressions as per the given passage.

The duration of the test will be for 15 minutes and the printed material in English containing about 3700-4000 key-depressants will be given to each candidate who will enter it in the test computer.

Skill Test for the post of Lower Division Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant (LDS/JSA) and Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant (PA/SA):

The speed of 10500 key depressions per hour will be decided based on the correct entry of words/key-depressions as per the given passage.

The duration of the test will be for 15 minutes and each candidate will have to print material in English containing about 9000 key-depressions/hour, who will enter the same in the test computer.
