1. Common Nouns Definition

Definition :- Common nouns are the everyday words we use to talk about general things, rather than specific ones. They form the foundation of our language, enabling us to describe the world around us in a broad sense.

Hindi – जिस संज्ञा से किसी एक ही वर्ग या जाति के प्रत्येक प्राणी, स्थान या वस्तु का बोध हो, वह common noun कहलाता है।

For Example:
The dog barks in the night.

When we use the word “dog,” we’re not referring to a particular dog but to any dog in general.

Everybody wants to go to a city.

Similarly, “city” doesn’t denote a specific city but rather any urban area with buildings, roads, and people.
