1. Bitter – [कड़वा] – Having a strong, unpleasant taste; not sweet.

Example:-
Black coffee leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.

2. Bland – [स्वादहीन] It is unseasoned or has an uninteresting taste. It seems to be without any flavour.

Example:-
Most rice cakes are bland when eaten alone.

3. Chewy – Needing to be chewed a lot before it can be eaten

Example:-
Toffee is chewy.

4. Creamy – [मलाईदार] – Thick and smooth like cream; containing a lot of cream

Example:-
Hot creamy soups are great on a cold winter day.

5. Crispy – [कुरकुरा] – Pleasantly hard and dry

Example:-

6. Crumbly – [भुरभुरा] – That easily breaks into very small pieces

Example:-
The cake should have a light and crumbly texture.

7. Crunchy – [कुरकुरा] – Hard and making a sharp sound when you bite it

8. Delicious – [स्वादिष्ट] – Having a very pleasant taste. It is appetizing.

This dish is delicious with cream.

9. Dry – [रसहीन] Having no juice or very little juice inside of it.

Example:-
Dry fruits are good for health.

10. Fresh – [ताज़ा] – Recently produced or picked and not frozen, dried or preserved in tins or cans

Example:-
Eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.

11. Greasy – [तैलीय/तेलमय] – Cooked with too much oil or fat

Example:-
These French fries are very greasy.

12. Healthy – [गुणकारी / तंदुरुस्त] – Good for your health, feel good, or give you energy.

Example:-
Fruit and vegetables are examples of healthy food.

13. Hot – [गरम] 1. food that has just finished cooking and hasn’t cooled down. 2. Usually containing pepper and spices that can produce a burning feeling in your mouth

Example:-
I prefer mild curry instead of strong types of curry.

17. Nutty – [अखरोट के स्वाद का] – Tasting of or containing nuts such as peanuts, walnuts, almonds

Example:-
I often make cakes with a nutty flavor this time of year.

18. Raw – [कच्चा] Not cooked. It is in its original state.

Example:-
These fish are often eaten raw.

19. Rich – [पौष्टिक] Containing a lot of fat, butter, eggs, etc. and making you feel full quickly

Example:-
A rich chocolate cake was served in the party.

20. Ripe – [पका हुआ] – Fully grown and ready to be eaten

Example:-
Pick the tomatoes before they get too ripe.

21. Roasted – [सिका / सेंका / भुना हुआ] – Cooked in an oven (or over a fire) for a long time.

Example:-

22. Rotten – [सड़ा हुआ] That has decayed and cannot be eaten or used

Example:-
The fruit is starting to go rotten.

23. Salty – [नमकीन] – Containing or tasting of salt

Example:-
It tasted slightly salty.

24. Seasoned – [मसालेदार] – With salt, pepper, etc. added to it to improve the flavor.

Example:-
The sausage was very highly seasoned.

25. Savory / savoury – [नमकीन / चटपटा] – tasting of salt; not sweet or having a pleasant taste or smell

28. Stale – [बासी] – No longer fresh and therefore unpleasant to eat

29. Sweet – [मीठा] – Containing, or tasting as if it contains, a lot of sugar

Example:-
Chocolate is an example of sweet food.

30. Syrupy – [चाशनी जैसा] – ​Thick and sticky like syrup; containing syrup

Example:-
Liquid honey is an example of a syrupy spread for toast.
