Subject: Complaint regarding Defective Color TV

Dear Sir/Madam,

I wish to draw your kind attention towards the purchase of a coloured B.P.L. T.V. from your shop vide cash memo no. 518 dated 30th December, 20XX. It worked very well for a few months but now it has started giving me a lot of problems. Its display is unclear and there is a black spot which appears on the right- hand side corner. Also, the TV takes more than the usual time to switch off and on, and does so with a constant ‘whiz’ sound.

Before purchasing you pleaded its durability, utility, and stability to be trustable but it seems it was only a bargain. You also provided me with a guarantee card in case of any issues. So, I request you to replace the television set at the earliest as it is under the stipulated guarantee period.
