1. WEAK VERBS : Verbs which require – ed, – d or – t to be added to the Present Tense to form the Past tense and past participle are called Weak Verbs.

5. DYNAMIC VERBS: The verbs which show actions and opposite to stative verbs and show temporary or momentary action.

Such as :

He is swimming.

She is going there.

6. INCHOATIVE VERBS: An inchoative verb is a verb that describes a change of state.

Such as : Get, Become, Grow etc.

My mother is getting weaker.

It is getting dark.

7. TRANSITIVE VERBS: The verbs which require an object are called transitive verbs. Transitive meaning passing over.

I teach you English.

She sings a song.

8. INTRANSITIVE VERBS: The verbs which does not require an object are called intransitive verbs. Transitive meaning passing over.

He sleeps in the bed.

Shyam speaks loudly.
